Rationale: This role owns internal collaboration infrastructure (M365) with platform responsibility for business-critical workflows. The position includes governance aspects (working with InfoSec to harden systems), reliability ownership (ensuring high availability), and control plane work (programmatic management, infrastructure design). While internal-facing rather than customer-facing production, it meets GenOps criteria through platform ownership and governance scope.
Job Description
A World-Changing Company
Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.
The Role
As a Systems Engineer in Palantir’s Technical Operations (IT) group, you’ll be joining a team that is the focal point for every major business workflow and decision at Palantir. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure powering Collaboration across the business. You’ll partner with our internal and external stakeholders to adapt industry tools to Palantir’s evolving needs, as well as expanding our use of Palantir Foundry and AIP for internal workloads.
As a member of the Collaboration Tools team, you’ll provide technical expertise and vision to key stakeholders. On any given day, you could be finding ways to programmatically manage complex systems with code, working with other internal teams to ensure services are highly available, or working with Information Security to harden critical systems.
